Delivery information
Access, handling and order instructions, explained before you pay.
Before your delivery
A few details help us plan a safe, straightforward delivery.
What instructions should I add?
Tell us about receiving hours, vehicle or parking restrictions, steps, stairs, lifts, narrow doors or hallways, and any unloading equipment or assistance you need. Add these in the order instructions field at payment. For complex requirements, contact us before paying. Do not include access codes, payment details or sensitive personal information.
When will my order arrive, and what does delivery cost?
Timing, charges and delivery arrangements depend on the goods, quantity and destination. Check the product details and your written quotation or order confirmation. If the delivery charge or an essential deadline is not confirmed, contact us before payment. A preferred date in your notes is a request, not a confirmed booking.
Will the driver bring goods inside or upstairs?
Do not assume indoor delivery, stairs, installation or unloading equipment are included. These must be agreed in advance. Tell us about access restrictions and check there is enough space along the agreed delivery route. For pallets, confirm a suitable unloading point and any forklift or tail-lift requirement with us before ordering.
What do I need to prepare?
Arrange for someone to receive the order, keep the agreed access route clear and make suitable space for the goods. After handover, you are responsible for moving and storing them safely in line with the product instructions. Use appropriate help or equipment for heavy items; do not attempt unsafe lifting. This does not remove our responsibility for safe delivery or faulty goods.
What if something arrives damaged or is missing?
Where safe and practical, check the packaging, visible condition and package count on arrival. Note visible damage or shortages with the driver, take photos if possible and contact CRS promptly with your order reference. Keep relevant packaging where practical. If damage is only discovered after unpacking, report it as soon as you discover it. Signing for delivery or not reporting damage immediately does not remove your statutory rights. Do not use food with damaged seals or unsafe equipment.
Can you guarantee my special instructions?
We review requests, but special handling, timed deliveries and changes to the agreed service require confirmation. If a condition is essential, contact us before payment so we can confirm what is possible. Any additional service or charge must be agreed before it is provided.
Need to discuss access or report an issue? Contact CRS. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
